I’ve been feeling inspired lately. For the first time I’m writing music on guitar and also for the first time I’m starting with riffs instead of chord progressions or melody parts. Making a riff sound interesting and catchy is pretty challenging but it’s proven to be a fun way to change up my creative process. Admittedly I’m still a beginner guitar player, but by taking lessons and doing these jam sessions I’m slowly making progress!
In the meantime, don’t forget to sign up to my newsletter to not miss anything. Check out my latest EP ”Millions of Simple Lights” below, made in collaboration with Russian artist Menya Net:
What a musical year it has been. Looking back at 2018 I’ve learned so much about writing, recording and producing music.
While kicking off the year with ‘’Vibes’’ I was entering the last stages of producing my debut EP Reliving. Sharing this creative process here and on the LPU forum was so much fun! Then in February I got this website online and in June I put out Reliving. Both were big personal achievements and I couldn’t have done it without my listeners and supporters. So thank you!
Before we enter a new year I want to celebrate with you ‘my’ 2018 with the playlist below. Featuring music that has inspired me throughout 2018 and some of my own tracks.
Happy Holidays! Looking forward to another year full of great music 😉
Hey there! Today I’m giving you a quick update on what I’ve been up to for the last couple months. Originally I planned to take a break from music after releasing my debut EP Reliving in June. To my own surprise however, I haven’t stopped creating at all. Ideas have been flowing constantly, which has led me to work on multiple new projects, both my own and collaborations.
As of today, I have a couple of tracks in the works and some are progressing really well! There’s no album or EP forming at the moment, so I’ll probably release these separately. Either way, keep an eye on this website as I’ll post new stuff when it’s ready.
Also worth mentioning: I’m currently learning to play guitar and it’s so much fun! I find it to be more challenging than learning piano due to the difficulty of placing the fingers correctly. Soon I may take some lessons to learn more quickly. Until then, YouTube tutorials will do 😀
