“The Battle” is the latest jingle I’ve made for Lucas ON AIR! Just like the previous two jingles, “The Battle” will be featured in every live broadcast from now on. In the weekly segment, two songs from Dutch artists compete for a spot on the radio playlist and listeners can vote on their favorite on Lucas’s Instagram.
The music stems from an old demo that I had saved on my phone, which had me playing the chords on my acoustic guitar (still present in the mix 😉 ). However, to make the track fit the theme of “The Battle”, I turned up the volume a bit, eventually ending up with my heaviest piece of music thus far. Plus to add to the raw style: most guitars you hear were recorded in one take!
